Today I am participating in a 3-day leadership program at Rotterdam School of Management about “Persuasive Leadership”.
In this program, I’m expanding my leadership knowledge. I am learning how to master internal power through theatre-based methods. Building fundamental knowledge of the structural, tactical, and psychological dimensions of persuasion. Using established leadership theories of persuasion and influencing (Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King among others).
It is a lot of fun to practice through these theatre-based methods because it also helps me to become more confident to speak efficiently for large groups without a lot of preparation. Using simple breading techniques, hand movements, tone of voice, articulation, and volume of voice. We are practicing in an actual theatre, with a real podium. So you are in the spotlight when speaking!

Already after the first day, I can feel the progress in my speaking skills. Curious what tomorrow and Wednesday is going to bring… 🙂
